MEDITATIONS ON SERENITY

When you live in a place so laid-back as this, it tends to rub off on you. No traffic to stress you, no rat race to run. A bad day in the Keys is a great day anywhere else.

So as a bonafide Type A, its been a bit of an adjustment. You learn to slow down, smell the sea air, enjoy the sunset. You slow down and enjoy the sights on your way to work. You laugh things off. Tomorrow is another day, whether sunny or cloudy.

Could I ever learn to live anyplace else again?
Sure, but................heels, makeup and pantyhose just don't hold the same appeal anymore. Think sundresses and hats. Think all-year tan. Think margaritas on board as the sun sets in the horizon.

It is what it is.
